The EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) was a program designed to fund deserving students that would otherwise have no chance of financing their college experience at Rider. It is a good program because it ensures that the people that should be educated have the opportunity to do so. I am very passionate about the concept that EOP represents. It represents achieving success, capturing fire, in the face of adversity. The summer session's purpose was to get all the EOP students in academic shape and assimilated into the college way of life. I am proud to be an EOP student, and view my fellow 47 EOP students as a family. The EOP summer was my first college experience, and I am happy that I got a jump start on the college experience.
