The time I spend volunteering at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop in Medford New Jersey continues to yield some of the most meaningful experiences in my life. At the thrift shop I feel as though I am an active citizen, and doing my share of giving back and helping the community. I assist with food drives for the poor, provide customer services, and work in the back sorting and organizing donated goods. The most meaningful thing that I remember doing there was dropping off Christmas Gifts to disadvantaged children; the happiness that I brought to those young children was truely unforgettable. I hope to have more genuine experiences like that one in the future at St. Vincents.
