The internship at the Willingboro Veterinary Clinic was a very educational experience. While there I shadowed a veterinary technician, and became acquainted with the diagnostic processes that they use to determine the physical status of the animals. I learned how to prepare and administer diagnostic tests, how to recognize certain physical ailments, and how to read the machines that monitor vital bodily functions. Although I was working with animals, the internship at the WVC allowed me gain experience within a sterile clinical setting. By the end of that internship I felt very comfortable in that kind of environment.
